After 2 years away from television, Fabián Ríos is back as part of the cast of the new version of Hasta que la plata nos Separe (Until Money Do Us Part) with Carmen Villalobos and Sebastián Martínez as protagonists.
“I decided to be with my family for 2 years… 2 full years with them, playing with the children, enjoying those things that one misses when working. And thank God we were able to return in 2022 with a character that I was waiting a long time,” the Colombian actor shared in an interview with People en Español.
In the new version of Hasta que la plata nos separe, Ríos plays the role of El Dandy, a man who fascinates all the women around him with his natural charm and gallant bearing.
“He is a spectacular character that I am enjoying like a child and I hope you like him when you see him in Hasta que la plata nos separe,” said the 41-year-old interpreter, who has participated in successful Telemundo productions such as Fearless Heart (Corazon Valiente) and the Sin Senos Si Hay Paraíso (Tge Way to Paradise) saga.
El Dandy is part of the sales team at Ramenautos, the car dealership company led by Alejandra Maldonado (Villalobos) as its successful Sales Manager. His sales technique is based on showing exaggerated affection. He is always very aware of his clients, especially women, whom he pampers. He is happy and funny; but deep down he is a lonely man who carries the great bitterness in his heart of having been deceived by the only woman he has truly loved.
Speaking about his feelings on the new project, he said, “What could be more cool in life than going to work, doing a story like these, and laughing at first and leaving laughing… I come home laughing, and that’s something that hasn’t happened to me in a long time.and I’m enjoying it like a child, I’m happy”.
Ríos returns to share the cast in this comic story with Gregorio Pernía and Stephania Duque and Carmen Villalobos whom he also worked with in Sin senos si hay Paraíso.
